Unforgotten

Light

Light –

I wondered about
the light you
cast on me.
With its rays
Green Yellow
White.
Wonder whether
the rays origin
are below
or Above ?

Sometimes they are
warm – felt them
on my skin

Like winter sun
cast through
my mother’s room
window glass
panes – white
metal – held

Where once, I lay as a
child, on deep maroon purple
carpet – watched the
Sheets of daylight

Rays rain on the
Skin of face
cheeks
eyes- lids squint
child – to see
the fascination –

Light – light
in cool of winter
…those days …
You would not know
fathom remember
Envisage

Unbeknown
I have envisaged you
Many times .
Swing of keys
Daytime tasks
Evening rush
Relaxing – now
And then again.

Through a mirror – behind
the glass – Listened
WATCHED – (saw )

Love – I have seen
things unbeknown to
You –

Things…

Wondering and watching
The light resting
on my skin
turned my head
swift – left
seen the
darkness in
your heart.

Full of rage
Submerged in
A sea –

I have not known

My light
Your light
They are opposed.
Like black and white.
One day they will
merge to grey
dissipate to
white mist.

With it –
I leave you
Both

Hope.

Hope.
