For a few days
Before I disappeared
From view.
Saw in you
The shadows
That spooked you
In daytime, sun bright and
When
No
One
Is really there.
Stood in front
Of them –
Blocking them
From your view.
Said – Don’t listen to the shadows.
They disappear with the light
And when another is near.
You –
dropped my hand in darkness.
Let me find my own way out.
I left you a mirror on the floor.
I hope the light I left stays with you.

You.
